Washington, DC -- Congressman David Davis has announced a drive for Christmas cards for members of the U.S. Military.
“The holiday season is a difficult time for active duty, our Veterans, and their families,” Congressman David Davis said. “Right now, we have an opportunity to show our support for those who have served and those who are serving our great nation by sending our strong sentiments of support in the form of a Christmas card. I will personally deliver the cards to men and women in uniform at Walter Reed Medical Center and the Veterans at Mountain Home VA Center in Johnson City.”
Christmas cards addressed to the troops are being accepted at the Blountville Office, Morristown Office, or by Congressman Davis’ Field Representative during the Constituent Outreach Schedule. The deadline for Christmas cards to be delivered is Friday, December 14th. For more information contact the district office at 323-1235.
