Washington, DC -- Congressman David Davis today announced that Sullivan County Volunteer Fire Department has been awarded $120,578 for operations and safety. This grant is administered through the Department of Homeland Security.
“Our first responders need to be kept as safe and protected as possible,” said Davis. “This grant will undoubtedly help Sullivan County Volunteer Fire Department keep their personnel safe along with the residents of the First District.” Davis added.
Note: This grant allots funds for training, personnel protective equipment, wellness and fitness, and health/safety modifications to each station.
