Washington, DC --Congressman David Davis today announced that Of One Accord Ministry has been awarded federal funding totaling 75,000 to aid in renovation and expansion of the Food Pantry in Hawkins and Hancock Counties.
“Of One Accord Ministry founder, Sheldon Livesay, has devoted countless hours of work for the people of Hawkins and Hancock Counties and I am delighted to announce this grant only four days from Christmas,” said Davis. “Of One Accord Ministries has been growing since its creation in 1988 and this grant will truly help Sheldon Livesay and Of One Accord Ministries continue to be a true asset to Hawkins County, Hancock County, and the First District,” Davis added.
This grant has been administered through the Department of Transportation, Housing, and Urban Development.
