Congressman Davis Announces Grant to Gatlinburg Fire Department

Washington, DC -- Congressman David Davis today announced that the Gatlinburg Fire Department will receive funding totaling $120,555 from the Department of Homeland Security.  The funds will be used for operations and safety. 

I am pleased to see that the Department of Homeland Security is supporting the First District of Tennessee by making this grant available,” said Davis.  “Keeping our first responders safe is a priority and this grant will allot funds for training, personal protective equipment, and safety modifications to stations and facilities,” Davis added.
