Washington, DC -- Congressman David Davis today announced that the Gatlinburg Fire Department will receive funding totaling $120,555 from the Department of Homeland Security. The funds will be used for operations and safety.
“I am pleased to see that the Department of Homeland Security is supporting the First District of Tennessee by making this grant available,” said Davis. “Keeping our first responders safe is a priority and this grant will allot funds for training, personal protective equipment, and safety modifications to stations and facilities,” Davis added.
