Washington, DC -- Congressman David Davis has announced a U.S. Department of Homeland Security grant in the amount of $261,250 to the Fall Branch Volunteer Fire Department designated for Vehicle Acquisition.
“Fall Branch Volunteer Fire Department is wonderful community in the First District,” Congressman David Davis said. “It is necessary to acquire new vehicles to ensure our firefighters have the best equipment available.”
The purpose of the AFG program is to award grants directly to fire departments. These awards aim to enhance our first responder’s ability to protect the health and safety of the public as well as that of first responder personnel, with respect to fire-related hazards.
