Washington, DC -- Congressman David Davis has announced a U.S. Department of Homeland Security grant in the amount of $21,090 to the Baneberry Volunteer Fire Department designated for Operations and Safety.
“Baneberry is a growing community in the First District,” Congressman David Davis said. “I am pleased to announce this much needed money for the firefighters at Baneberry Volunteer Fire Department.”
The purpose of the AFG program is to award grants directly to fire departments. These awards aim to enhance our first responder’s ability to protect the health and safety of the public as well as that of first responder personnel, with respect to fire-related hazards.
