Washington, DC -- Congressman David Davis has announced a Federal Aviation Administration Grant to the Tri-Cities Regional Airport in the amount of $921,237 to acquire equipment, land acquisition around the runway, install needed NAVAIDS, and rehabilitate portions of the runway.
“Tri-Cities Regional Airport plays a major role in our region,” Congressman David Davis said. “A well maintained airport is essential to continued economic development for the First District. I am pleased that TCRA and the First District will benefit from this grant.”
The FAA grant will fund a portion of the remarking of the runway pavement, provide the first phase of rehabilitation of runway 5-23, acquisition of wind cones, and fund the acquisition of boarding equipment to accommodate recently added gates.
