DAVIS HONORED WITH “A IN ENGLISH” AWARD
- Congressman David Davis was recognized at the U.S. Capitol this morning by U.S. English, Inc. for his dedication to preserving the role of the English language in the United States. DAVIS ANNOUNCES HUD GRANT TO JOHNSON CITY
- Congressman David Davis today announced that the Johnson City Housing Authority has received a grant of $286,440 under the Housing and Urban Development’s Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH) grant program.  The grant will provide vouchers to assist in rental payments for homeless veterans as authorized by the United States Housing Act of 1937. DAVIS OFFERS AMENDMENT TO ALLOW PRAYER IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS
- Congressman David Davis today offered an amendment to the 21st Century High-Performing Public School Facilities Act in the House Committee on Education and Labor.  The amendment would prohibit public schools from having policies in place that would prevent or deny participation in constitutionally-protected prayer.  Davis issued the following statement on his school prayer amendment: MORE
